1. Category Analysis/Selection
Senior editorial members review the nomination process and categories annually to properly reflect changes in industry best practices, priorities and trends. We request specific details and examples to help ensure the individuals selected honor the absolute best that the industry has to offer.
2. Ensuring a Diverse Slate of Entrants
GlobeSt. works to ensure this award honors the industry’s most influential experts, and the only way to do so is to ensure that we receive an array of relevant nominations that represent diverse backgrounds, geographies and specialties. We leverage the GlobeSt. community in an effort to assure that a broad swath of the industry is aware of and participates in this recognition.
3. Judging
In correspondence with the award’s criteria, GlobeSt.'s senior editors diligently review all nominations without bias in order to present a categorized shortlist of the industry’s top female professionals to our esteemed advisory board. The judges then evaluate the winners to select one stand out Woman of the Year from each nomination category.
The judges are extremely knowledgeable within the field, and they in no way directly compete with the work that is being judged. We require all judges to announce any conflicts and exclude themselves from categories where they feel bias may occur.
4. Recognition
After the 2024 Women of Influence are notified of their selection in April, the chosen professionals will be honored at the annual GlobeSt. Women of Influence awards dinner in Lake Tahoe, CA on July 23, 2024. The Women of Influence will also be profiled in a feature article on GlobeSt.com in mid-July and will receive additional recognition via GlobeSt.’s email newsletters.
