What are the GlobeSt. Women of Influence Awards?

Since 1983, GlobeSt. has recognized a growing number of commercial real estate female professionals for their remarkable achievements. These individuals have personally impacted the market and have significantly driven the industry to new heights via their outstanding successes.

When do nominations close for the 2025 Women of Influence Awards?

Nominations are open until February 21, 2025.

What information/data will I need to apply?

The complete nomination form, including all questions and word limits, is available for download here. Please note that this is for preparation purposes only. Final entries must be submitted online, via the nomination portal
All submissions must include a professional headshot. The image must be in color, a minimum 300 dpi files and in .jpg format.
Nominations must clearly convey quantitative and qualitative results regarding the nominee’s industry impact and accomplishments. We ask submitters to support their entries and statements with backup information – we love facts and figures. Don’t just tell us the nominee’s accomplishments, show us by sharing a brief story that illustrates their achievements.

Is there a fee to nominate?

No. Submission to the awards, as well as all of GlobeSt.com's editorial content, is free.

How many nominees can I submit?

There is no limit to the number of candidates that a company or a submitter can nominate.

Can I nominate myself?

Yes. We accept self-nominations, as well as third-party submissions.

I was selected as a Woman of Influence last year. Can I apply again this year?

To avoid redundancy, we aim to vary the Women of Influence that we profile from year-to-year. We encourage submitters to nominate individuals that have not previously been recognized as a Woman of Influence. That said, women that have been selected in recent years may be nominated once again by including updated details that do not mirror accomplishments from previous submissions.
For optimal consideration, we suggest that recently-chosen Women of Influence be nominated in a separate category from which they were previously recognized. For instance, if a candidate was selected within the WOI Finance Executive category last year, she may be nominated in the WOI Diversity Champion category, this year.

How and when will the 2025 Women of Influence be notified of their selection?

Editorial staff will send email notifications to the chosen Women of Influence and their submitters in mid-April. Due to the high volume of nominations that we receive, only those selected will be notified.

How will the 2025 Women of Influence be recognized?

GlobeSt. will honor the 2025 Women of Influence at the annual GlobeSt. Women of Influence awards dinner, which will be held in Denver, CO on July 22, 2025. The Women of Influence will also be profiled in a feature article on GlobeSt.com in late-July. The honorees will gain additional recognition via GlobeSt.’s social media channels and email newsletters.

What if my nominee assumes a new role with a different company after the submission deadline?

By submitting a nomination, you are agreeing that should your nominee be selected as a 2025 Woman of Influence, GlobeSt. has the right to include them in the 2025 WOI recognition, regardless of whether or not the nominee has changed companies by the time of publication. That said, for accuracy purposes, you may reach out to Ingrid Tunberg regarding a small update to the honoree's bio, stating that they have since taken on a new role.

How does the judging process work?

Upon the submission deadline, GlobeSt.’s seasoned editors carefully review each nomination without bias. The judges work diligently alongside an advisory panel of CRE experts to select the industry’s most influential women across a variety of backgrounds and expertise. The judges base their decisions on an array of factors in correlation with the awards’ criteria and consider each nominee's different accomplishments, whether that be within their role, through industry contributions, innovations, etc. You may view more information on the judging process, here
