Mindful meditation is advocated for reducing reactions to stress by inducing the relaxation-response, lowering the heart rate, reducing anxiety, and encouraging positive thought patterns and attitudes.

 

The Manhattan Cocktail - A Taste of History:
Join us for this entertaining presentation on The Manhattan cocktail as we discuss and taste through the rich 150-year history of this storied drink! Starting from the mid-1800s on how the cocktail came to be, to the variation during prohibition to the return of this classic during the 1980s. In addition to the review of the rich history, you receive three variations of this cocktail and the techniques and recipes on how to mix this classic drink. You receive a printed custom tasting mat and you’ll be sure to know how to make your favorite type of Manhattan cocktail by the end of the presentation!
