What information/data will I need to apply?

You may download the complete nomination form, including all questions and word limits, here for CRE’s Best Bosses and here for CRE’s Best Places to Work. Please note that this is for preparation purposes only. Final entries must be submitted online, via the Nominate Now webpage.

Who may apply?

CRE's Best Bosses nominations are open to any executive-level professional (from management to C-suite) who leads and has a significant decision-making role within a commercial real estate company or a commercial real estate division of a larger company. You may nominate two professionals as a team, if the company’s leadership is split between executives.
CRE's Best Places to Work nominations are open to any organization whose primary business is in commercial real estate, as well as broader companies with commercial real estate divisions.

Can I nominate myself for CRE’s Best Bosses?

Yes. We accept self-nominations.

Can I nominate a company for CRE’s Best Places to Work as a third party?

Yes. We accept third-party submissions, however, please note, submitters are required to collect internal information from company employees, including a company representative (such as the head of human resources or the head of operations), as well as a full-time entry-level/mid-level employee and a full-time upper-level employee.

Can previously chosen Best Bosses or Best Places to Work be nominated again this year?

To avoid redundancy, we try to vary the professionals and companies that we profile from year to year. However, you may submit a nomination for a previously selected Best Boss and/or Best Place to Work by including updated details and testimonies that do not mirror the previous year’s submission.

How and when will winners be notified?

Editorial staff will send email notifications to the chosen professionals and companies, as well as their submitters, by early January. Due to the high volume of nominations that we receive, only those selected will be notified.

When will the issue come out?

CRE’s Best Bosses and Best Places to Work will be profiled in the March/April 2022 issue of GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum, which will be distributed in early April. The chosen professionals and companies will additionally gain recognition on GlobeSt.com.

Is there a fee to apply?

No. Submission to this, as well as all of our editorial content, is free.

How do I increase my chances of being selected?

Be as descriptive, yet concise as possible. Sounds redundant, but it’s simple. Provide details on why you think your nominee should be chosen for this recognition, but leave out the fluff, like marketing content and self-congratulatory comments. Don’t hide the items of importance within pages of trivialities. Support your entry and statements with backup information—we love facts and figures.
