GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum Presents

2021 Influencers in NET LEASE

The power of influence is vast, and influencers yield such clout that they are able to effect change through direct and, more often than not, indirect action. The impact of an influencer is recognizable and significant.

In all segments of the commercial real estate business, there are a number of individuals that have made an indelible impact on their line of business. Be it through their contributions to the industry, or the vast successes they’ve racked up in completing deals and projects, or the innovations and best practices they’ve introduced to the business, these people and organizations have helped to shape their field and where it is headed.

This year, GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum is putting the spotlight on some of the biggest Influencers across the commercial real estate spectrum. The next installment of our Influencer series will feature some of the most notable professionals in the NET LEASE real estate scene, from developers, investors and brokers to those introducing new concepts and products to the business. We will be separating our chosen Influencers into various categories; recognizing their achievements in, for example, narrower geographic areas or specific asset classes.

This year is particularly relevant as it is following 12 or so months of a nationwide pandemic that tested the mettle of the men and women bringing home not only net lease deals but transactions throughout the entire industry. People who not only survived but thrived in this challenging environment deserve special recognition.

We plan to honor the chosen Net Lease Influencers at a celebratory awards ceremony this fall – assuming health and safety guidelines allow. In addition, the 2021 Net Lease Influencers will be profiled in GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum’s September issue, and will gain recognition on GlobeSt.com. Whether at our event, or within our pages, our hope is that the industry will gain insights from the nominees’ stories, thus preparing their transactions and investments for continued success.

What You Should Know

  • You may nominate individuals, teams or organizations. If nominating individuals, please submit no more than five nominees per company. If nominating a team or company, please include only leaders and key members. We encourage you to limit your entries to nominees who have made indelible impacts on the business.
  • This year, GlobeSt.com and GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum will also be recognizing some of the much-coveted investment-grade credit tenants for net lease properties. These tenants are the companies and businesses that people visit, even in times of economic downturns – providing a steady and secure income stream to owners. Whether a gas station, convenience or discount store, grocery store or medical facility, these tenants play an invaluable role in the net lease universe.
  • For this Influencer series, our judges will additionally select a number of individual candidates to be recognized as Rising Stars. The Rising Star distinction will be presented to professionals who are making waves within the industry as an individual to watch. Submitters do not separately apply for this distinction.
  • Each submission for an individual nominee must include a professional headshot. Image must be in color, minimum 300 dpi files in .jpg format.
  • The complete nomination form, including all questions and word limits, is available for download here. Please note that this is for preparation purposes only. Final entries must be submitted online (e-mail and fax are not acceptable).
