Who is eligible for nomination?
Nominations are open to any executive-level professional (from management to C-suite), who leads and has a significant decision-making role within a commercial real estate company or a commercial real estate division of a larger company. You may nominate two professionals as a team, if the company’s leadership is split between two executives.
When do the 2025 nominations close?
Nominations are open until May 28, 2025.
What information/data will I need to apply?
The complete nomination form, including all questions and word limits, is available for download here. Please note that this is for preparation purposes only. Final entries must be submitted online, via the nomination portal.
Submissions must include a professional headshot image. All images must be in color, a minimum 300 dpi files and in .jpg format.

Is there a fee to nominate?
No. Submission to this recognition, as well as all of GlobeSt.com's editorial content, is free.
Can I nominate myself?
Yes. We accept self-nominations, as well as third-party submissions.
How many nominees can I submit?
A submitter can nominate as many candidates as they wish for this recognition, however, please submit no more than three nominees per company. We encourage you to limit your entries to those who have made indelible impacts on the business.
Can I nominate an individual that was selected as one of CRE’s Best Bosses last year?
To avoid redundancy, we try to vary the executives that we profile from year-to-year, however, you may submit a nomination for a previously selected Best Boss by including updated details and testimonies that do not mirror the previous year’s submission.

How and when will the 2025 CRE’s Best Bosses be notified of their selection?
Editorial staff will send email notifications to the chosen professionals and their submitters in mid-July. Due to the high volume of nominations that we receive, only those selected will be notified.
How will the CRE’s Best Bosses of 2025 be recognized?
CRE’s Best Bosses of 2025 will be profiled in a feature article on GlobeSt.com in early September. The chosen professionals will gain additional recognition via GlobeSt.'s social media channels and email newsletters.
What if my nominee assumes a new role with a different company after the submission deadline?
By submitting a nomination, you are agreeing that should your nominee be selected as one of CRE’s Best Bosses, GlobeSt. has the right to include them in the 2025 CRE’s Best Bosses recognition, regardless of whether or not the nominee has changed companies or positions by the time of publication. That said, for accuracy purposes, you may reach out to Ingrid Tunberg regarding a small update to the honoree's bio, stating that they have since taken on a new role (time permitting).
How does the judging process work?
Upon the submission deadline, GlobeSt.’s editorial team of industry experts carefully reviews each nomination without bias. The judges work diligently to select the industry’s most influential executives across a variety of backgrounds and expertise. The judges base their decisions on an array of factors and consider each nominee's different accomplishments, whether that be in their role, through industry contributions, innovations, etc.
