GlobeSt. presents...

Influencers in Retail Real Estate 2024

The retail sector is one of the bright spots in the commercial real estate universe. Rents are up, vacancies are low and even investment sales have fared well considering the turmoil in the capital markets. Bricks-and-mortar are triumphing over e-commerce as consumers flock to in-person locations, while omni-channel strategies remain important.

This year has been an exciting one for the men and women who navigate the retail real estate market. New brands, themes and store concepts are being tested in various markets – usually to great success. Though the moving parts of the economy, consumers and inflation make the job of a retail real estate broker, banker or landlord that much more challenging. Many professionals have become experts at handling lease re-negotiations and developing new innovations for touchless environments, while at the same time working tirelessly to ensure that retail properties serve and revitalize their surrounding communities.

With this in mind, GlobeSt. is once again seeking to recognize the prominent and impactful professionals within the retail sector, from developers, investors and tenants, to brokers, managers and consultants. GlobeSt. will honor not only the individual pioneers who have impacted the industry through their efforts, but also the organizations and the teams within that have become critical to the industry.

The extended nomination deadline is February 9, 2024.

Once the nomination portal is closed, we will no longer accept submissions.
