GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum Presents

Influencers in Net Lease 2022

The net lease sector is the backbone of the commercial real estate space and it continues to be a beacon for investors eager for its steady returns. Domestic and international capital has been flooding the single-tenant net lease space, for example, with sales volume from the second half of 2021 hitting $64 billion, 40% above same-period numbers in 2019, according to Colliers. The type of capital that is snapping up investments is also telling: big money capital and private equity are leading the charge, with institutional, REIT and cross-border capital sources accounting for nearly 60% of all acquisition volume in 2021, compared with 43% for the broader market.

The next installment of GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum’s Influencer series will feature some of the most notable professionals in the net lease real estate scene, from developers, investors and brokers to those introducing new concepts and products to the business.

Be it through their contributions to the industry, the vast successes they’ve racked up in completing deals and projects, or the innovations and best practices they’ve introduced to the business, GlobeSt. is seeking the professionals, teams and organizations that have helped shape the net lease field and where it is headed.

The nomination deadline is May 13, 2022

We will accept submissions as long as the form remains open.

What You Need to Know

  • You may nominate individuals, teams or organizations. If nominating individuals, please submit no more than five nominees per company. If nominating a team or company, please include only leaders and key members. We encourage you to limit your entries to those who have made indelible impacts on the business.
  • GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum will also be recognizing coveted, investment-grade credit tenants for net lease properties. These tenants are the companies and businesses that people visit, even in times of economic downturns – providing a steady and secure income stream to owners. Whether a gas station, convenience or discount store, grocery store or medical facility, these tenants play an invaluable role in the net lease universe.
  • For this Influencer series, our judges will additionally select a number of individual candidates to be recognized as Rising Stars. The Rising Star distinction will be presented to professionals who are making waves within the industry as an individual to watch. Submitters do not separately apply for this distinction.
  • Each submission for an individual nominee must include a professional headshot. Image must be in color, minimum 300 dpi files in .jpg format.
  • The complete nomination form, including all questions and word limits, is available for download here. Please note that this is for preparation purposes only. Final entries must be submitted online (e-mail and fax are not acceptable).
