Ed Steffelin, Co-Founder of AXCS Capital and President, AXCS Investments is based in NY and has over 25 years of investment experience in structured products, alternative assets, and real estate. He has been actively engaged in the residential development, financing, and construction sector for the past 14 years. Prior to AXCS Investments, Mr. Steffelin is a Managing Director at George Smith Partners, and he is the co-founder of Balcara Group, a build to rent developer.

He has created and managed different investment vehicles over his career. During his time at Walton Global, he formed a distressed vacant developed lot fund, structured a long-term land investment vehicle with a family office and helped create a private equity firm focused on the residential real estate space, RAM Real Estate Capital. At GSC Group he managed the Eliot Bridge hedge fund in 2005, a long short credit fund, and ultimately created and managed a distressed mortgage fund, Pendulum.

Mr. Steffelin has held positions at TCW, Allianz, and XL Financial Solutions, and the New York Stock Exchange He graduated from Dartmouth College with an MBA degree and graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with Honors from Occidental College with BA degree in Economics.
