Justin Levitt is a Managing Director at PGIM Real Estate and Head of the Northeast Region for U.S. Debt. Based in New York City, Justin leads a team that is responsible for originating a broad range of commercial mortgage products in the core, core plus, structured and agency spaces. His team works with clients based in the Northeast but finances assets across the U.S. Justin also serves as a regional portfolio manager for the northeastern U.S. markets for PGIM Real Estate’s core strategies where he has credit authority.
Since joining the company in 2006, Justin has originated loans on all property types and through all capital sources. Previously, Justin
worked in the legal group of the Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust, where he was primarily responsible for negotiating commercial leases and assisting in the preparation of SEC Filings.
Justin received a bachelor’s degree in finance and business law from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, and earned a juris doctor degree, with concentrations in corporate and real estate transactions, from the University of Miami School of Law.
Justin is an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York and is a past chair of the Finance Committee. He is also active in the Urban Land Institute where he sits on one of the Small Scale Development Councils. Justin is also a member of the New Jersey Apartment Association, the Pennsylvania Apartment Association as well as the Real Estate Finance Association in Boston.
