Micah Conn is Senior Vice President of Development at AvalonBay Communities, where he leads the company's Florida development platform. He is responsible for advancing AvalonBay's growth strategy across the state, overseeing projects from acquisition through stabilization in some of Florida's most competitive markets.

With more than 20 years of experience delivering multifamily and mixed-use projects across Florida and other major U.S. markets, Micah focuses on building teams that work across departments to create alignment and buy-in. He's known for strong relationships with investment partners, public officials, and local stakeholders.

Before joining AvalonBay, Micah was Regional Vice President of Investment at Gables Residential, where he led the firm's Florida investment platform and managed the origination and execution of multifamily and mixed-use developments. Earlier, he was Vice President of Development at M&M Properties, directing project sourcing and execution for residential opportunities across Florida.
Micah holds a Master of Science in Construction Management from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida.
