Andrew Van Tuyle brings over 25 years of extensive experience in the acquisition, disposition, financing, brokerage, and management of commercial real estate.

Andrew serves as Senior Managing Director of Investments at Haven Housing, the subsidiary of BH Properties which focuses on the acquisition of market rate and affordable housing communities. He leads the firm’s Value Add and Bankruptcy divisions, where he is instrumental in sourcing and executing complex investment opportunities, including stalking horse bids, debtor-in-possession financing, and distressed asset acquisitions.

Throughout his career, Andrew has successfully closed transactions exceeding $5 billion across more than 30 states, demonstrating deep expertise across all major real estate asset classes. His strategic vision and deal-making acumen have positioned him as a key driver of Haven Housings' national investment platform.

Prior to joining BH Properties, Andrew held leadership roles in private equity, finance, brokerage, and syndication with several prominent firms in the Los Angeles market. His professional achievements have earned him industry recognition, including being named one of Real Estate Southern California’s “Top 40 Under 40” and a “Star to Watch” by Commercial Property News.

Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of San Diego and remains actively involved in various business associations and community organizations.
