Kavita Mathews is the Western Region Head at ASB Real Estate Investments, a real estate investment management firm with $6.1 billion of AUM whose primary vehicle is an open-end core fund, the Allegiance Fund. Kavita oversees all acquisitions activity for the west coast as well as the asset management of its West coast portfolio, which consists of 7.2 million square feet across various product types.

Kavita joined ASB in 2018 from the CIM Group in Los Angeles, where she placed over $1 billion in multifamily investments and new development across the value-add and opportunistic risk spectrum. Previously she worked in the real estate division of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and Goldman Sachs in the company’s New York real estate group.

Kavita earned a B.S. in Economics, magna cum laude, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
