Rylan Burns is Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at Essex and is responsible for leading the Company’s Investment, Development, and Capital Management departments. Since joining the company, Rylan has led the Company’s Joint-Venture platform as well as the Investor Relations department. Prior to joining Essex, he was a portfolio manager at Millennium Investments and an analyst at Fidelity Investments where he was responsible for making investment decisions in REIT stocks.
Rylan holds a Bachelor of Arts from Amherst College where he studied Mandarin and Economics and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
