As founder and CEO of The Garrett Companies, Eric directs the strategic planning and operations of the firm, which is one of the largest multifamily real estate developers and construction companies in the U.S. as ranked by the National Multifamily Housing Council.
The Garrett Companies has completed more than 20,000 apartment units in 22 states, and is an industry leader in forecasting trends and delivering properties that find quick success in the market. The firm also manages apartment properties, develops mixed-use, retail and office properties, and has a restaurant division.
Eric lived in apartments growing up, and is passionate about the need to provide quality homes of all types for people at all income levels. After graduating from Indiana State University, Eric began his career in multifamily brokerage and quickly moved to the development side of the business. He founded The Garrett Companies soon after.
