Ross is Trinity Health’s Regional Real Estate Director for the West and Mid-West Regions as well as its National Ministries of Home Health, Senior Care and PACE. He has responsibility for all aspects of Trinity’s real estate in these business units.
Prior to joining Trinity in 2018, Ross held various real estate positions at Scripps Health, Southern California Edison, Hammes Company, PacifiCare Health Systems and Unocal Corporation where he formulated and implemented plans to reduce costs, create earnings and creatively save troubled projects.
With a proven track record over 30-years of measurable, cost-effective results, Ross has carried responsibility for all aspects of medical and administrative office building portfolios, including acquisition, disposition, leasing, property taxes, operations, maintenance and improvements. He has also overseen company-wide electricity and natural gas direct-access contracting while creating an 11 MW solar electricity portfolio at Scripps Health. Ross’ qualifications in finance and operations complement his real estate expertise to allow him to drive bottom-line results.
Ross holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in GeoEngineering from the University of Minnesota. He is recognized as an authority in the field, having spoken on panels at the Building Owners & Management Association (BOMA) annual Medical Office Buildings and Healthcare Facilities Conferences, Interface Medical Office Building Conferences, and RealShare Medical Office Building Conferences.
Ross is a member of the HREI Advisory Board and BOMA. Ross has been a member by invitation on Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) Healthcare & Life Sciences Council and NAIOP’s Medical & Life Sciences Forum; as well as a business representative on the University Community Planning Group in San Diego, California.
