Jim McMahon serves as Senior Director at Capital One Healthcare’s Medical Office/Medical Properties Loan Originations team. Prior to its acquisition by Capital One in 2015, he served in a similar capacity for GE Capital, Healthcare Financial Services (HFS). Jim has been in this role since June 2014 and in that time has originated ~200 transactions totaling over $4 billion in loan commitments using his business’ value propositions of healthcare expertise, structure and flexibility, certainty of execution and the ability to align debt with borrowers’ business plans. Jim joined GE Capital’s HFS business in 2005 as an underwriting
Team Leader. From that time up until 2014, he led the underwriting and closing of several billion dollars of debt and equity transactions in the both the long-term care and medical office building sectors. Jim is a graduate of Loyola University and received a Master’s in Real Estate Finance from DePaul University.
