Brian is a Principal of Taylor Street and the Designated Broker of Taylor Street Advisors. Brian has extensive advisory, acquisition and disposition experience through his investment banking, corporate strategy and commercial real estate sales and investment roles. He has been involved in over $1 billion of real estate investment, debt, equity, private placement and private and publicly traded REIT transactions.

Previously to Taylor Street, Brian was an accomplished multifamily investment broker at Marcus & Millichap in Phoenix, AZ. Marcus & Millichap Inc., (NYSE: MMI), is the largest national commercial real estate firm specializing in real estate investment sales closing more than $42 billion in assets over 8,995 transactions in 2016. Brian was an Associate Director of the firm’s National Multi Housing Group and, during the firm’s transition period, also served as the Designated Broker for the Arizona office. As a multifamily broker, he led a successful private capital team that closed over 60 apartment transactions totaling over $300 million within three years.

Brian started his career in investment banking with A.G Edwards & Sons, Inc, a Wells Fargo company, specializing in fixed income trading for corporate and municipal debt securities, preferred stock, private and publicly traded real estate investment trusts and real estate syndications. He managed and advised on an approximate $50 million portfolio of assets.

After A.G. Edwards, Brian made the transition to a boutique investment bank and securities brokerage company where he served as a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). In 2010, he began his career at Marcus & Millichap as a commercial sales associate in retail and office.

Originally from Atlanta, GA, Brian has called Phoenix home since 1999. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Arizona. Previously, Brian held 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses as well as held a Certified Estate Planner (CEP) designation.
