Created as part of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, the concept of Opportunity Zones was to attract investment capital into “economically distressed” areas.  In return for these investments, investors receive several tax benefits. But of the thousands of potential communities, which ones might offer the best returns, since no two Opportunity Zones are alike. The details of the “opportunity” in Opportunity Zones are complex, and finding the right resource to help you understand the rules, regulations, and the risks associated with this venture is critical.  This workshop is designed to go dive into the possibilities, parameters and regulations of Opportunity Zones specifically for the multifamily sector.
