Terri Herubin is a Senior Managing Director and leads the company’s US open-end funds for the Investment Management business. Terri oversees the management of more than $9 billion in gross asset value.
Terri began her real estate career at the New York State Teachers’ Retirement System, where she evaluated and recommended investments of more than $4.5 billion to equity real estate. Subsequently, she joined The United Group, a New York-based developer, as Executive Vice President for Senior Housing. In 2009, Terri joined The Townsend Group as a Principal and then in 2012 she joined Barings Real Estate as Lead Portfolio Manager of its open-end core fund and was a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Before joining Greystar in 2019, she was Senior Product Specialist for Global Real Estate at Angelo Gordon. Terri is a member of W/X, New York Women Executives in Real Estate, the Multifamily Gold Council of the Urban Land Institute, the Membership Committee and Reporting and Valuation Affinity Group of PREA, and a Trustee of Brandywine Realty Trust.
Terri received her bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and obtained her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School.
