Sarah K. Abrams is Senior Vice President and Head of Global Real Estate for Iron Mountain, a public REIT and Fortune 1000 company. She joined Iron Mountain in 2012 to globalize and transform the corporate real estate function into a strategic business partner to Iron Mountain’s businesses and leads a global team with responsibility for real estate strategy, transactions, project delivery, facility management and sustainability initiatives related to Iron Mountain’s 90.0+M sf real estate portfolio across 60+ countries. She serves on the firm’s Enterprise Risk Committee and is a director of the company’s Political Action Committee (PAC). Immediately prior to joining Iron Mountain, Sarah was the president of Fidelity Real Estate Company, the corporate real estate division of Fidelity Investments.
An accomplished public speaker, Sarah leverages her communications skills to influence outcomes across the firm, to inspire her team and to contribute to her profession. She holds an adjunct lecturer appointment at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Center for Real Estate where she teaches a graduate course on Corporate Real Estate as well as teaching the Art of Presenting to the Young Leader Professional Development program of the New England CoreNet chapter, a year long program which she co-leads. Sarah holds a BA in Economics, magna cum laude from Boston University, a JD degree from Cornell Law School and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is a past president and current Advisory Council member of the New England Chapter of CoreNet Global, former president and chair of the Massachusetts Chapter of NAIOP and a past president of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) Boston.

Sarah served for years as a mayoral appointee to the board of the Boston Industrial Development Finance Authority as well as serving as a member of the Industry Advisory Panel for the US State Department’s Bureau of Overseas Building Operations. A recipient of many industry awards and honors, Sarah received CREW’s Distinguished Leader Award in 2015 and was inducted into CoreNet Global’s Distinguished Leaders Circle in 2019.

Sarah and her husband, Allan Cole, live in Newton, MA and have a 24 year old son who just completed graduate school. She enjoys playing golf and spending time with family and friends.
