Matthew Pestronk is co-founder of Post Brothers, a real estate investment, development and management company with singular and unique expertise in urban real estate development. Matthew has 18 years of real estate experience. Matthew serves as President of Post Brothers, where he has sponsored Class-A multifamily development projects, mixed use and retail projects comprised of over 3,000 apartment units and over 200,000 sf of urban retail space, with total equity raised of approximately $350 million since 2006 and a stabilized value in excess of $1.4 billion. Matthew is responsible for identifying, structuring and executing acquisition opportunities, developing target markets, and all equity and debt financing. Matthew was previously the youngest Managing Director in the 86 year history of The Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group, where he has arranged over 50 equity and debt financings totaling in excess of $1 billion of placed capital on behalf of an entrepreneurial and high-net worth client base across all major asset classes. Matthew serves on the board of several charitable organizations including the Executive Committee of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia's Real Estate affinity group (JFRE), Trustee of the National Museum of American Jewish History, Philadelphia Holocaust Remembrance Foundation and Beat the Streets Philadelphia.
