David Piasecki has been engaged in the Corporate Single-Net Lease business for over 30 years and has a transaction history exceeding $ 5 billion of acquisitions, dispositions and financings.
He was a co-founder of Mesirow Realty Sale-Leaseback, a prominent participant in the business and also started up Highland Equity Group in Atlanta, a firm which morphed into the highly successful Argonne Capital Group, a private equity firm which acquired restaurant chains using sale-leaseback financing as a primary financing method. He has extensive experience in providing capital to Build-to-suit developers having completed nearly $ 2 billion of such deals with Tenants such as General Electric, FedEx, Allstate Insurance, Dignity Healthcare, Mars Candy and as well as the GSA.
Most recently he was Chief Operations Officer and later Chief Investment Officer for ElmTree Funds, a highly successful real estate private equity sponsor based in St. Louis, MO.
In early 2021, Piasecki, together with Blue Vista Capital Management LLC created BV Net Lease Capital LLC. It invests in Single-Tenant Industrial, Office, Healthcare and essential retail properties on a nationwide basis. Blue Vista Capital Management LLC is a Chicago-based real estate investment fund manager which started in 2002 and has invested in transactions having a nearly $12 billion in capitalization,
Mr. Piasecki has spoken a numerous industry and investment conferences such as the Net Lease Forum, Connect RE, Commercial Property News and various Opal Conferences for institutional investors and private equity sponsors. He has written many articles about the business and is often interviewed by real estate trade organizations.
