Georges Asmar is the President and Managing Director of LeadCrest Capital Partners. From 2013 to 2018 Mr. Asmar set-up and implemented the sale-leaseback strategy within global real estate firm Colony Capital (NYSE: CLNY). As the portfolio manager leading the global net lease strategy, Mr. Asmar was responsible for (1) investments, (2) accounting & treasury, (3) tax, (4) property management, (5) asset management and (6) investor relations. Prior to joining Colony Capital in 2013, Mr. Asmar worked at W. P. Carey (NYSE: WPC) as a Director. Mr. Asmar also spent eight years in private equity and investment banking in London (HSBC/JPMorgan), where he was involved in acquisitions and equity capital markets, debt capital markets, M&A (buy & sell-sides) mainly in the infrastructure, real estate, renewable energy and telecom sectors.

Mr. Asmar received a Master of Science in Management from EM Lyon Business School and a Master of Business Administration with Honors from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
